My last watercolors which I made into Christmas presents. Something I love doing that I need to find more time for.

Baby Girl's Zig Zag Quilt

Now that she's almost 8 months old I suppose I should get on the ball and take some pictures of the quilt her Grandma Sheila made. She only asked me for pictures two, maybe three times :) It is beautiful and I am so lucky to have such a talented, wonderful mother-in-law. She even made a matching bib. Since I took some pictures for her I thought I would post them here too. They are so cheery, I hope they brighten your day!

Copy Cat Pottery Barn Display {No Cost January Decorating}

It's always nice to start with a clean slate after Christmas. I decided to try something new in that awkward nook/ledge area in our living room. I took inspiration from my trip to Pottery Barn last summer and finally recreated one of their displays by throwing together stuff I had.

January Teacher Appreciation "Chappy New Year!"

While I was "in town," I was able to visit Target and I scored on some great clearance items I had in mind for Teacher Appreciation. I was inspired by a pin I saw on pinterest that said "Merry Kiss-mass and Chappy New Year" with chapstick. 

I found these cute pocket calendars for 50 cents a piece in the Target dollar spot and packages of Lipsmackers in the clearance Christmas stocking stuffers section. Then I just purchased some $1 ribbon and printed up a tag:

Easy Christmas Treats (With a Shoe theme!)

I was in charge of a Christmas / Shoe themed event for teenage girls at my church. This is what I came up with:

High-heel pull apart cupcakes:

Chocolate dipped nutella shoe decorated cookies:

And they were delicious to "boot"! :) Happy Christmas eating :)
