PRODUCT REVIEW: FRIZZ-EASE, a new fave!

Have you ever tried a product to find that... it actually does what it claims?! I have had a sample of this miracle serum for a long time and I finally decided to pull it out and try it. I AM SOLD. My hair was so smooth and shiny and NOT FRIZZY, I just couldn't believe it! And I wasn't the only one; every time my husband looked at me he made a comment about how beautiful I looked and how frizz free my hair was, probably for the 1st time he's ever known me. Sad, I know. Some of us just can't help the frizz! So if you're like me, you've got to try this product. It is about $8 at Walmart which you may think is expensive, but you use a tiny amount, and come ON, it will make your hair beautiful = totally worth it.

Latest Project: Baby Boy Quilt

I have had a picture of Pottery Barn Kids' Tahoe quilt in my idea book for years. (This picture is all I could find online). I have been saving my husband's old flannel shirts, a pair of khaki chino's, etc especially for this quilt. Now that we are finally expecting a boy, I have gotten out my pictures, my sewing machine, gone to the craft store a couple times and cut into the fabric. So far, it is looking great and very similar to the original. Wish me luck!

I LOVE TO HELP: free mammograms

A favor to ask, it only takes a minute: The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on their site daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to underprivileged women. It takes less than 2o seconds to go to their site and click on 'donating a mammogram' for free (pink window in the middle).

It doesnt cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsers / advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammograms in exchange for advertising.

THANK YOU

I CAN MAKE THAT: Spring Style

I got my Crate and Barrel catalog yesterday and I am lovin' yellow. No more pale pastels for spring, bring on the bright fun!

The above pictures are my current inspiration. Oh how I wish I could paint my kitchen walls a cheerful yellow! And how easy are those Dahlia napkin rings and flower cupcakes to make? Love it.
What are you loving right now?

I LOVE EASTER

...and I love decorating for it. Have you seen PB's decor for the season? Click on this to see. The store displays are even more fantastic and inspiring. I used three white pots in the middle of my table filled with moss and white and brown eggs for the more natural look this year. Also, check out Thrift Decor Chick's Spring Table (link on right). Love it.

I hope you all have a beautiful, happy Easter this weekend.

I'm sorry I still dont have internet at home. I check it at my mom's once a week. I just can't bring myself to pay $60 a month when it is not a necessity right now! Anyone have any cheaper plans?

I LOVE GETTING THINGS IN ORDER

Sorry no pics, but just an update that things are all out of boxes and getting organized! I have my very own craft corner this time, instead of a craft closet.
I don't know about you, but I am ready to decorate for spring! It is so nice and lovely outside! Today I noticed there is Easter stuff out in the stores already, so I am started to gather some ideas of "I can make that"s.
So stay tuned....
