I LOVE PAPERCRAFTING! Year of Cards
Look what I did! I made 12 cards for each month of the year! It was lots of fun and I love using up my paper. Although it looks like I hardly made a dent in my stash! Thanks so much to my husband who made this possible and let me go hide at my craft table while he watched the kids.
Don't look at the cards too closely, you might get a pack this Christmas!!!

I LOVE WINTER BLUES
scrapbook paper from Die Cuts With a View
I wanted to do some papercrafting today. It's about time for me to do a project. But instead I took a nap and mock shopped online. Am I a loser, or what? (Disclaimer: I did all my chores, errands, and grocery shopping first!) I found these fun finds that you can enjoy for eye candy :) Hopefully this will inspire me to get crafting......

CENTERPIECE: New Year's
I made New Year's dinner festive for my family by creating this centerpiece in mere minutes. I used my "snow" vase filler, saved a snowflake ornament from the Christmas tree, and lit tealights in my new Glimma tealight holders from IKEA. Simply beautiful.

I CAN MAKE THAT: PB Chalkboard Platter
I received my new Pottery Barn catalog in the mail today, and upon browsing through I had another "I can make that!" moment. The crazy thing is, it would be SO easy and I cannot believe what they charge for this stuff! A set of 2 chalkboard platters for $99. Seriously?
Goodwill/garage sale: platter for a couple bucks, hardware store or Walmart for chalkboard paint. Paint it on yourself and VOILA!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Who doesn't love a free gift for themselves? Well if you don't have a new calendar yet, go over to one of my favorite sites, TipNut, and get yourself one now! And have a Happy New Year enjoying your pretty calendar! I chose the lovely birdie one above, but there are lots to choose from. Check them out here.
