Removing Wallpaper {kitchen/dining before & after}

We've been in our new house for about a week now. The kitchen/ dining area had this LoVeRLy wallpaper that I just couldn't live one more day with. I was very lucky that it came down so easily and after a couple of nights after the kiddies went to sleep and and a Saturday morning of painting, it's like a breath a fresh air in here!
To remove wallpaper like this: first peel off the top layer exposing the glued layer underneath (fingernails are very useful for this!) Then using a damp/wet sponge, rub the paper until it has completely asorbed the water from the sponge running it over the paper. I did one section at a time stopping at each seam. Then simply find a corner and pull off! Then run the sponge over the wall alternating between rinsing to get the rest of the glue off the wall. Luckily there was semi gloss paint under this paper, I think that made it easier for removal?
Then we painted it Believable Buff by Sherwin Williams.
Aaahhhhh! That's better.
Now on to unpacking more boxes...
